![]() Our ten-year business plan is to move aggressively into growth markets that allow us to leverage our past successes and our certifications. It is also based on very clear strategies to attain our goals. Our revenue goals are as follows: Within five years, GSO revenues will be $1 billion per year Within ten years, GSO revenues will be $10 billion per year. The source of our revenues this year will be primarily brokering of Nigerian Crude Oil sales to American Refineries. In subsequent years, our growth will also include revenues from contracts with the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC. In order to gain critical mass early in this period, we will also look to acquire companies with complementary services and client bases.
In 1981, Gozi Oburota, the founder of GSO Corporation, left Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) or the USA equivalent of the Federal Reserve Bank, for United States to study. After graduating with a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Finance from the University of Texas at Austin in 1985, Mr. Oburota proceeded to earn his Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from University of Texas at Austin in 1988. It was at this point in his life that International Business Machines Corporation (IBM) came calling for him to work for them in their plant located in Silicon Valley, California. Mr. Oburota assisted IBM with the product development for the 3390 Direct Access Storage Device and had worldwide product cost responsibility for the $6 billion main frame computer system. Upon the successful introduction of the main frame to the market, Mr. Oburota left IBM in 1990 to start GSO CORPORATION. GSO CORPORATION (hereafter GSO) was incorporated in 1994, as a California corporation. GSO is a professional Energy Services firm based in Washington, DC. GSO provides project management services, financial management services, and information technology services, to the Energy Sector and to the United States government. Our early successes were regional, with clients primarily located in California. In 2002, GSO relocated headquarters office from San Jose, California, to Washington, DC |
